Spectral transmittance is the ratio of the transmitted light intensity to the total light intensity, which reflects the reference standard for the radiant flux loss in the entire optical system. The spectral transmittance measurement of transparent, translucent objects (including liquids, glass, etc.) is of great significance and value.It is widely used in evaluating the quality of the filter. And it is also an important indicator of the qualified glass and liquid transparency testing in medical and health, industrial production, chemical synthesis and other fields.

For spectral transmittance measurement, a spectrometer, light source, fiber, measuring holder, standard reference sample, and measurement software are usually required.
