Summary
iToF is an optical ranging method using optical flight time, which is widely used in 3D depth sensing sensors such as Lidar and depth cameras. Therefore, Lidar can be used to measure the speed of light at a known distance. By using an experimental device composed of laser module, guide rail, reflection block components and controllers, students can understand the principle of measuring the light speed and refractive index of different media based on time-of-flight method, and measuring the light speed by iToF phase method.
