Summary
Raman spectroscopy is an important application classification in molecular spectroscopy. After it depends on the incident light into the sample, the molecules in the sample vibrate, resulting in changes in the frequency of some scattered light, and the spectrum of these frequencies is Raman spectroscopy. Different substances have different molecular vibration frequencies, which also means that different substances have different Raman spectral characteristics, so the qualitative analysis of unknown samples can be conducted through the "fingerprint spectrum" of these molecular vibration. Meanwhile, the peak intensity of the Raman spectrum is proportional to the concentration of the sample molecules, and therefore, the Raman spectrum can also be used for quantitative analysis.
In Raman spectroscopy testing, there is basically no need to touch samples, which is convenient for the test analysis of liquid and solid samples. During the test, the narrow linewidth laser of BRM-760X series was selected as the incident light source, and the BIM-6002A or BIM-6703 series spectrometer was selected according to the requirements of detection sensitivity. The SIM-6131 series Raman probe was used for light conduction, and the matching test accessories were selected for liquid samples and solid samples respectively.
