LED Measurement

LED, as one of the most important light sources, nowadays is widely used in different fields because of its unique characteristics. Due to a variety of LED with different colors and luminance, it needs to accurately measure its optical properties.


The unique shape of the LED light -emitting surface makes it difficult to homogenize the luminescence. The way by reducing light loss through the use of integrating spheres is suitable for most LED measurement applications. For optical radiation measurements, integrating sphere is a very important part. The inner surface of the integrating sphere has perfect scattering, and the light is uniformly reflected on its inner surface, resulting in the same degree of light exposure at any point on the wall. The combination of the integrating sphere and the spectrometer makes a stable measurement.

The rapid development of LED industry brings a rich kinds of LED. LED sorting and QC need to test the wavelength and color parameters. Brolight spectrometer, with a compact design, can be integrated into a variety of automation systems. It uses fiber to sample and transmission and it is very convenient to build a system. 0.5ms fast integration time of BIM-6002A is useful in high speed testing.
